By default, all transactions will be approved on your cards. You can choose to block transactions based on merchant type, transaction type, location, or spend limit.
- In Card Defense®, select Alerts and Controls.
- Within each main category, select the subcategory for each type of control that you would like to add.
- Toggle the button next to Block Transaction from Off to On. The bell above the On/Off toggle will turn green with the word BLOCK in front of it in red text. When you block a transaction, an alert for that blocked transaction will automatically be added.
- For spend limit controls, toggle the block On, then enter the dollar amount you want to use as the limit. Any transaction above that amount will be blocked. When you’re done, click or tap Save.
- To turn off the alerts for a subcategory, toggle the button next to Block Transaction from On to Off. The bell above the On/Off toggle will turn gray and line with a circle will be placed over the bell. The alert for the blocked transaction will also be turned off.
