No.  Scanning a Zelle® QR code will not enroll you with Zelle®.  Prior to scanning a Zelle® QR code, you will need to enroll in Zelle®. 

 

To enroll in Zelle®:

  1. In the mobile app, tap Send Money with Zelle® under Move money or Payments. 
  2. Tap your email address or U.S. mobile phone number.
  3. Enter the one-time verification code sent to either the email address or phone number you selected. 
  4. Accept terms and conditions and you’re ready to start sending and receiving with Zelle®!

 

Once enrolled, your Zelle®  QR code can be scanned from the mobile app.
